Cotton Handwoven Rugs
Designed to fit modern homes and really easy to look after - our beautiful rugs are woven on traditional hand looms by highly skilled artisans in North-Western India. This ancient craft of weaving on wooden handlooms is time-consuming yet effective in bringing a textured strength to the yarn. Each rug takes anywhere from 45-60 days to finish. Our artisans use the same handloom techniques to produce a modern take on a traditional art form.
Hand-Printed Indigo Cotton Rugs
Carefully crafted by our master artisans using techniques dating back hundreds of years. Our Indigo rugs are hand block-printed with a mixture of mud and limestone before being dipped in indigo well. Upon drying the mud makes way for a white colour whereas Indigo blue takes over everything else. The process takes a few days to complete. Finished rugs are then stone-washed to produce a distressed denim look.
Indigo-dipped Cotton Cushions
Just like our Indigo rugs - these cushions are block-printed using techniques going back hundreds of years. Each cushion is made out of cotton which is first block-printed with a mixture of mud and limestone, then dipped in Indigo and stone-washed to give it the distressed look.
